Nice park. There are trails and lots of kids playground equipment (swings and slides). Also during the Christmas holidays there is a Festival of Lights here that you can drive thru and at the end meet and greet with Santa Claus. Overall a good place for kids and adults.
A decent disc golf course, very steep in several spots.
Just FYI for anyone planning a trip, the festival of lights is not open December 24-25th. Starts back on the 26th per the sign.
Saint Albans City Park has many good things about it. It has many shelters with many different little playgrounds, picnic tables, BBQ grills, a dog park, baseball field, walking trails and a pool. During the winter the park is transformed into a drive through Christmas light show. It also has an area where they do plays during special occasions.
